MotoUpdates ("we," "our," or "us") provides a comprehensive workshop operations management platform designed for vehicle repair hubs, technicians, and service advisors. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, store, and protect user data across our web application and mobile application (Package ID: com.motoupdates.app).

We collect data strictly required to deliver workshop operation workflows, job card management, diagnostic uploads, and customer notifications:
Media & Photos
Allows technicians to upload vehicle inspection photos, damage records, repair progress videos, and diagnostic reports to work orders.
User Account Auth
Technician and manager account details including names, email addresses, phone numbers, and encrypted session credentials.
Network & Sync Logs
Detects network connectivity to synchronize offline job cards and sync real-time status updates with cloud servers.
Data Protection & Encryption
We enforce strict security controls to protect operational data:
Encryption in Transit: All data exchanged between MotoUpdates mobile devices and our backend APIs is encrypted using TLS 1.2/1.3 (HTTPS).
Secure Storage: Auth tokens and local preferences are encrypted using Android KeyStore and Secure Storage.
No Data Selling: MotoUpdates does not sell, rent, or trade your personal or workshop operational data to third parties.
Third-Party Services
MotoUpdates integrates with select third-party services to deliver core functionality — including cloud hosting (Supabase), WhatsApp Business API, payment gateways, and error monitoring (Sentry). These providers process data only as necessary to deliver their services and are bound by their own privacy policies.
Data Retention & Account Deletion
We retain job records and media attachments for as long as your workshop account remains active. Organization administrators or individual users may submit an automated request for full data deletion:
